Driving Restriction
Previous driving experience with stick shift gears is essential. The tour leader reserves the right at his or her absolute discretion to terminate without notice and liability the participation of any driver who is unable to drive the car safely. In such a case no refund will be due. All drivers must present a valid driving licence. Minimum age for drivers is 18 years. The Tour may be cancelled in case of bad weather – In this case you will be offered a change of date or a full refund.
Tour Description
Meet the tour leader at the centrally restored Classic Fiat 500, located in a Florence garage, once the stables and coach house of a prestigious Florentine Palazzo.
Your tour guide gives you the basic and safety information, introducing you the secrets of driving this legendary car. Following the tour leader with who you are constantly in contact by radio, you drive along the riverside and through romantic tree-lined avenue to reach the famous terrace of Florence where you can catch breathtaking glimpses of the city.
A stop for the inside visit of one of the oldest churches in Florence. The church with its particular position, atop one of highest points of Florence it is a must for those who want to enjoy an unforgettable view of the City and take wonderful photos.
Then you leave Florence to take the panoramic country roads through the gently hills, listening the radio commentary. While driving through the countryside, you will be enthralled by the amazing landscape characterized by olive-groves, vineyards and cypresses. Perfect scenery to stop and take unforgettable photos.
You have the chance to swap places with the driver and experience your turn at the wheel.
Then, a stop for a break in a private terrace to enjoy the spectacular view to the to the hills, scattered with historic villas and castles. You can sample some appetizing Tuscan cheeses and ham with a taste of Chianti wine. After taking your last pictures you drive back to Florence, taking the most suggestive and panoramic route back to the city.
