Packrafting Serchio River a Refreshing Excursion Near LuccaThis stretch of river Serchio, runs from Lake Pian di Gioviano to the confluence with the stream Lima in Chifenti. The almost 5 km of the route offer the passage from the small rapids nicknamed La Perpetua and Train in Vain and the some dives (optional) from 3 to 5 meters.

Fun on the River Serchio
An easy adventure for all the family! For those looking for relax in the river and fun in the water, the Serchio river flows through a beautiful valley.
We start from the little Lake at Piano di Gioviano, and follow the river to its confluence with the Lima Creek, at Chifenti.
During the descent we have two amusing rapids. The Perpetua and the The Train, enjoy the small rapids and a revitalizing swim and games into the crystal-clear water of the river.
Just before arriving, we put on a show of a fun rescue simulation and let you swim down an artificial slide surrounded by the nature.
This is not an extreme sport since the river is quiet overall. The passage on the waves at some points, however, gives an unforgettable thrill. Through our partners we are proud to offer the best outdoor and rafting experiences in Tuscany. All our activities do not require any previous experience, therefore are certainly suitable even for absolute beginners.
Recommended for families, tourists, school trips, scouts, business team buildings, birthday celebration, bachelor/bachelorette parties and for who wants to get closer to the river’s world in complete safety.
Each participant is provided with a life jacket and a paddle and, after a brief technical explanation by the guide, you are ready to go.
FAQ
All our Rafting, Kayaking, River trekking, SUP and Trekking excursions are also for beginners and children. No experience and no special skills are required to participate. The activities of Hidrospeed and Canyoning are forbidden to children under 16 years.
For all the urban and soft rafting excursions, we will provide you with a lifebuoy and paddle as well as a telephone/camera bag. For all the adrenaline rafting excursions, River trekking, Kayak, Hidrospeed and Canyoning we will provide you with life jacket, helmet, wetsuit, neoprene boots and any paddle.
Apart from the desire to have fun … for all urban rafting excursions and soft, we recommend dressing comfortable and sporty with slippers / sandals / shoes to get wet and bring a phone / camera on board. For all the adrenaline rafting excursions, River trekking, Kayak, Hidrospeed and Canyoning we recommend wearing a swimsuit, a thermal shirt and shoes to bathe. For trekking excursions we recommend to come comfortable and sporty clothes with trekking shoes.
Yes, certainly, every occasion is good for a river trip. Birthday parties, corporate events, stag and hen parties and school trips are just a few examples. We are open to any request to customize the excursions according to your needs.
