Montepulciano, is a renaissance town in Southern Tuscany and an important agricultural center, famous for it’s “Nobile” wine. Montepulciano lies on a hilltop in a panoramic position and is surrounded by the 15th century defensive works by “Antonio da Sangallo”. Birthplace of the famous poet Agnolo Ambrogini, called “Poliziano”.

Il Falconiere is part of the Relais and Chateaux group of hotels, and is located in a converted 17th century villa. It offers tables both inside and outside on the terrace, has a striking view of Cortona and over the surrounding Tuscan countryside, offering postcard-perfect vistas. The restaurant serves an excellent cuisine, reflecting the flavours and fragrances rooted in the land and its traditions, with dishes prepared with fresh and high-quality products, such as the unique Chianina beef.
Most vegetables and herbs used, are grown in the restaurant’s own garden.
